Day 5 was preempted by grocery shopping and a late movie. So today was the first make-up day. My goal is to write 3000 words today and friday in order to be caught up without having to sacrifice a Sunday. I really need that rest day. 
Today went well. I had a bit of a rough start, and had to do some rewrites. However, the story is back on track, and better than it would have been.

Procrastination rears its ugly head.
It was well into the evening before I finally sat down, and disciplined myself to write. It also took almost twice as long to reach my goal. Thank goodness for Tommy Heavenly who’s music helped me ignore the television, noisy children, and even the turtles crazy loud water purifier thingy.

This was a great evening. I feel like I’m really getting into the swing of a schedule, and the ideas and words are flowing really well. I know I’ll be doing a lot of editing later, but for now it feels good just to get things written.

Fridays are hard days. I got a new game from Gamefly which I wanted to play, and the children were excited to have Dad home to play with. I’m afraid I put off writing until pretty late, so I am only now finished. Which means it’s really day 3, but I won’t tell if you won’t.

It was a long session. My goal is 2000 words per day. That way I can take Sundays off if I like.
It took a while to get into the swing of it, but I’m really jazzed now. My story is going well.
Write now my mantra is “show them, don’t tell them”.

I’ve thrown my proverbial hat in the proverbial NaNoWriMo ring again.
Even though I don’t have any delusions about my skills, time constraints, or likely hood of “winning”; I still hope that I will succeed.This will be my journal / record of my progress.
